Spiral Galaxy

African mahogany, acrylic paint

12" D x 1.5" H

$255

This wide rimmed platter of figured African mahogany was inspired by the many spiral galaxies in our universe. The spiral arms continue on the back of the piece until the astronomical elements (including stars and solar systems) gradually diminish in intensity as one moves away from the galaxy center.
